2- هدف المقرر:
 
 
To equip postgraduate students with essential knowledge  and skills needed to applies legal protections in nursing practice & guide for ethical decision making to an ethical dilemma that contributing to achieve high quality care to patient.
3- المستهدف من تدريس المقرر :
At the end of this course the student will be able to

A1.Define the terms of collective bargaining ,health, organizational behavior, quality control
 
A2-Identify major reasons for greater unionization among professional nurses.
A3-Discuss the history of collective bargaining in nursing
A4-Identify the characteristics of a profession and their relationship to collective bargaining
A5-Discuss the issues that lead to unions and collective bargaining
A6-Describe the process of collective bargaining
A7-Describe a grievance procedure and illustrate how it should work.
A8-Discuss the process of arbitration and mediation.
A9-List benefits of collective bargaining
A10-Describe strategies to maintain physical, intellectual, emotional, professional, social,& spiritual health
-A11-Identify occupational health hazards that are present in the work setting.
A12-Discuss methods of personal financial planning.
A13-Identify the sources and types of law and regulations and their impact on nursing practice.
A14-Explain privacy laws related to nursing actions..
A15-Identify historical and philosophical influences on nursing practice.
A16-State the personal philosophy of professional nursing

C2.Analyze common areas of nursing practice that lead to malpractice &outline  actions a nurse can take to minimize these risks.

C4- Analyze the nurse role as patient advocate and the duty to follow another practice orders.
C5-Applies ethical theories in nursing practice
C6- Applies guide for ethical decision making to an ethical dilemma.
C7-Determine factors to consider when costing out nursing services.
