1-الاهداف العامة للبرنامج
The program aims:
1. Graduate competent professional nurse providing systematic, comprehensive midwifery and gynecological care for women in health and illness.
2. Be aware of ongoing health problems in obstetrics and gynecology
3. Collaborate effectively with multi discipline team to provide quality care to women.
4. Contribute to the professional self development and others to enhance nursing care of women.

By the end of the program the nurse student should be able to:

A.1 Describe the role and effect of nursing profession on providing a healthy environment for women
A.2Identify the principles and techniques when providing a systematic comprehensive care for women during different maternity cycle based on research findings and research ethics.
A.3 Recognize the legal and ethical issue pertaining to obstetrics and gynecological nursing.
A.4-Identify principles and concepts of quality assurance in professional practices

B.1 Interpret the basis of physical and behavioral sciences that help in caring for women with selected health problems.
B.2. Utilize knowledge from nursing and related sciences to identify and prioritize health needs of women and her family.
B.3. Develop skills pertaining to the care of women in different phases of maternity cycle.
B.4. Collect and interpret research findings data in order to provide information that would benefit in caring of women in different phases of maternity cycle.
B.5. Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to provide quality care to women.
B.6. Identify the areas of evidence based research and conduct a scientific research and other scholarly activity about one of the problem in the field of obstetric and gynecological nursing.

6-متطلبات الالتحاق بالبرنامج:
1- الحصول على موافقة مجلس القسم المختص.
2- استكمال جميع المستندات المطلوبه من ادارة الدراسات العلي بالكليه.
3- ان يتم سداد الرسوم الدراسيه قبل بدء الدراسه ويستثنى من هذا الشرط المعيدون والمدرسون المساعدين وطلاب المنح الدراسيه.
7-القواعد المنظمة لاستكمال البرنامج:
-1- ان يكون حاصلا على درجة البكالريوس فى علوم التمريض بتقدير عام على الاقل جيد ومادة التخصص جيد جدا من إحدى جامعات جمهورية مصر العربيه او على درجه معادله من جامعه اخرى معترف بهامن المجلس الاعلى للجامعات,للدراسات العليا .
-2- ان يكون الطالب قد زاول مهنة التمريض لمده لا تقل عن سنتين بعد السنه التدريبيه (الامتياز) فى مستشفى جامعى او تعليمى ,او يكون قد عين معيد بالجامعه لمدة عام على الاقل بعد السنه التدريبيه.
