At the end of the course the doctorate student will be equipped with essential knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to provide competent care to children during health and illness from birth to adolescence

By the end of this course the student should be able to:

A1- Discuss common laboratory and diagnostic tests used in the diagnosis and management of various childhood medical conditions
A2-Identify various factors associated with different diseases in infant and children from birth to adolescence
A3-Discuss common medications and other treatments used for treatment and palliation of various medical problems
A5-Recognize risk factors associated with various pediatric medical disorders

B1-Differentiate various infectious illness occurring in childhood from birth to adolescence according to types of rash
B2-Distinguish among different medical childhood illnesses based on the signs and symptoms associated with them
