1-الاهداف العامة للبرنامج
The program aims to:
Graduate competent professional nurse who is able to; provide systematic, comprehensive nursing care for children in health and in illness, demonstrates awareness of ongoing health problems among children from birth to adolescents, use the appropriate technological methods that serve the professional practices and collaborate effectively with multi discipline teams to provide quality care to children as well as contribute to the professional self development and others to enhance pediatric nursing care.
2-Intended learning outcome (ILOs):
By the end of the program the postgraduate student nurse should be able to:

A.1 Demonstrate understanding of theories and bases of physical and behavioral sciences, in order to make professional judgment that will help in caring for children with common health problems.
A.2 Describe the role and effect of nursing profession in providing a healthy environment for children.
A.3 Identify the principles and techniques of a systematic comprehensive care for children from birth to adolescence based on research findings and research ethics.
A.4 Illustrate some awareness of scientific developments in pediatric nursing.
A.5 Discuss the legal and ethical issue pertaining to pediatric nursing.
A.6-Identify principles and concepts of quality assurance in professional practices

B.1. Analyze research findings based information to deliver appropriate nursing care for children from birth to adolescence.

6-متطلبات الالتحاق بالبرنامج:
1 – The student should hold a bachelor degree in nursing sciences with at least a good grade and very good in the specialty from a university in the Arab Republic of Egypt at least a good grade or an equivalent degree from a college or a scientific institute last recognized by the Supreme Council of Universities, for postgraduate studies.
2 - The student should practice the nursing profession for at least two years after the training year (internship) at a University or educational hospital, or should be hired a demonstrator in the university for at least one year after the training year.
7-القواعد المنظمة لاستكمال البرنامج:
1 - Approval of the concerned department.
2 - Complete all the required documents from the faculty post graduate studies department.
3 - Pay tuition fees before the beginning of the study. Demonstrators and scholarships students are excluded from this requirement.
