This course will provide the student with essential information regarding management of patients in ICU and CCU as well as develop skills and specialized procedures specific to these unite.

By the end of the course the student should be able to:

A1- Recognize colostomy and tracheostomy care.
A2- Recognize physiotherapy and electrocardiograph .
A3- Identify principles of nursing management in ICU and CCU.

B1- Use any life-saving measures effectively and efficiently.
B2- Prepared critical patient for any emergency procedures.
B3- Formulate specific nursing care plan for patients in intensive care units.

c1- Conduct suitable nursing care for patient on dialysis effectively..
c2- Implement safe, effective and efficiently emergency procedures in ICU and CCU.

d2- Teach patient and their family how to cope with terminal conditions.
D3- Continuously assess patients and unite for any problems and report.

· Colostomy care.
· Chest physiotherapy.
· Tracheostomy care.
· Central nervous system.
· Electrocardiograph.
· Care of patients on mechanical ventilation.
· Care for patients on dialysis.
